Who is Newgy Industries?

In 1972, Joseph E. Newgarden, Jr. started working on his first table tennis robot. After 16 years of research and development, it was released commercially in 1988.

The Newgy Robo-Pong® quickly became the industry standard for table tennis robots. Each new generation of Robo-Pongs has debuted to rave reviews in the table tennis community.

Now in 2011, Newgarden is still at the helm of Newgy Industries and ensures his organization continues to refine and improve the Robo-Pong to make sure it meets the demands of the table tennis community. He created the Robo-Pong to be simple to use, easy to store, reliable, maintenance free, and easy to set up, take down, and transport. The Robo-Pong is actually the only portable ping-pong robot in the world specifically designed for home recreation use.

Newgarden is passionately committed to producing table tennis products that are affordable, high quality and user friendly so that everyone can experience the competition, fitness benefits, and family fun that table tennis offers. Newgarden believes the table tennis robot can revolutionize the way a person practices table tennis and learns the game.

Because of Newgarden’s passion for the game and his vision to create the Robo-Pong table tennis robot, hundreds of thousands of individuals and families are enjoying the sport of table tennis in ways they never could before. Nothing teaches the sport of table tennis faster or more effectively than the Newgy Robo-Pong table tennis robot.

The Robo-Pong table tennis robot provides a means for everyone from the beginner to national champion to have a practice partner ready to practice anytime. Newgy products are also designed as home-use games for family fun and entertainment, fitness and exciting competition in mind. (Check out the Pong-Master game.)
